Creating Brand Identity in Soap Opera




As Soap Operas run continuously, in the same scheduled slot, on the same institution for years, they become ingrained in the psyche of a culture. The Eastenders opening title cards, with it's combination of image, sound and text, is one of the most distinctive opening sequences in Soap.

When you create your trailer the name of your soap must tell the reader who the soap is aimed at, what is going to happen in the programme and where it is set- both region and main settings.
